With storage tiers of 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100GB - and more custom options - you can select the capacity you need now and scale up quickly and easily when your needs increase. Our service saves you money by leveraging your existing broadband capacity during off hours and by allowing you to back up data to an off-site location without having to pay for additional media delivery. Plus, choose from these retention options: 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days.

Really, really, really redundant protection

To ensure your business is protected, multiple retentions of your data will be stored in our vaults. If retrieval is necessary, we provide a simple interface for you to use in restoring files so you can get up and running again right away.

Open Transaction Manager® (included with service) - If your business must protect data for applications that may remain active during backup operations, Open Transaction Manager®(OTM) can back up a snapshot of open, shared, or locked files without system or application interruption. Microsoft SQL Server®support (included with service) - If your business relies on a Microsoft SQL Server database, Charter Business® Backup APS protects your business application data without interrupting your users or applications. This means you don't have to shut down the application to perform database backups. Microsoft Exchange Server support (included with service) - If your business relies on a Microsoft Exchange Server for email, Charter Business® Backup APS backs up your email assets with a server plug-in module. You don't have to shut down the application to perform email backups, so you can be confident your critical business communications are protected. Oracle Support (included with service) - The Oracle plug-in lets you back up and quickly restore Oracle databases to and from anywhere in your network. This provides secure, flexible and real-time protection needed to backup your mission critical data. DVD Recovery Service (not included in monthly service) - This service provides a DVD copy of data for restoration. USB/FireWire® Recovery Service (not included in monthly service) - This service provides a device and media for restoration (requires USB/FireWire port on destination device).
