Custom Email and Website Address Migration Instructions

On March 1, 2010, we launched a new website and email hosting platform and will begin migrating everyone who currently has a generic Charter email and/or website address (those ending in charterinternet.com) to a customized domain address (<user name>@<your company name>.com.)
In order to continue to receive emails and/or visitors to your website, you must choose your new personalized address.
  • This change is free of charge* and builds your brand credibility
  • You must register your new domain by November 15, 2010 to ensure that you have no interruption to your email or web hosting services. After this date, access to the old platform will be disabled.
  • We will continue to forward emails and web traffic from your old address until March 1, 2011 at which time the old platform will be disabled and you will no longer be able to access your content. This will allow enough time to notify your customers and partners as well as update any business materials with your new email and website address.
  • Your billing plan and monthly price will remain unchanged*
